Expanding Your Business? Incorporate Background Checks!

If you’re going to expand your business and add new people — even if they are only part-time or commission-driven — into the mix, it’s time to invest in background checks.

Though you might feel that your organization is “too small” to need background checks on employees, remember that it’s tougher for a small business to absorb the negative press associated with a bad hire than it is for a large entity.  (And it’s still really, really tough for the “big guys” to deal with a crisis.)

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to get the security of background checks for your business.  In fact, it’s probably more affordable than you might imagine.  And it sure beats having to explain to a reporter why you made a bad hiring decision that ended in tragedy.
